Japanese Horror

    “Kokkuri-san” game is a kind of the augury that calls the soul and hears a divine message. Kokkuri-san is said that he is ghost of fox. Kokkuri-san answer the questions which participants asked by moving 10yen coin. The specific procedures of the “Kokkuri-san” are as follows. There are 5 steps.

   1. At first, the participants write tori, “yes” and “no” on white paper.

       The participants write numbers from 0 to 9 (0~9) and the Japanese syllabary.

   2. The participants put a 10yen coin on torii around paper. Every participant put fingers on the 10yen coin.

​

   3. The participants say “kokkuri-san, kokkuri-san, please enter.”

       Then the 10yen coin moves to the part of “yes” by itself.

​

   4. The participants can ask kokkuri-san any questions what they want.

       Answers for the questions given by the 10 yen coins which moves on the Japanese syllabary by itself.

​

   5. Finally, the participants  say "kokkuri-san, kokkuri-san, please go back."

       Then, the 10yen coin moves to tori. This is the end.
